H2O, Ralph Steiner (1929) - music by Marcello Mangiavacca
Marcello Mangiavacca: guitar, live electronics, max/msp programming and composition.
This sonorization is an interactive improvisation between computer controlled organs and a live performer (in this case an electric guitar player).
The organs move along a predefined score in a probabilistic way by means of a "Markov chain" model. So, in the end, this particular sonorization is not repeatable, because every time the organs will develop the score in a different way. This was the first take.
