Francesco Luzi

Francesco Luzi starts to study music seriously under the guidance of Maestro Cesare Atticciati, harpsichord player and an excellent musician, educated at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. Luzi enters the Siena conservatory, where he first studies with Maestro Palazzolo and later with Maestra Paola Franconi under which he graduates. In the meantime he has experience with many other teachers: in 2000 he flies out to Boston for a summer course at the Boston Conservatory where he studies with the artist Janice Weber. In the fall of the same year, he attends a Master Class with Maestro Paul Badura-Skoda, an internationally known piano player. In 2001 he participates in a weekly course on piano techniques held by Maestro Innocenti. At the same time he starts a university education, and graduates in mathematics with a thesis with the title “The concept of symmetry applied to musical composition”. His passion for spreading music, leads to the founding of a Non Profit Association in the municipality
