Morning Haze - Ominous Ascent
Ominous Ascent is the second full lenght album of Raffaele Monego as Morning Haze and it comes five years after the previous LP "First Light". The new album wants to be an expansion and a deeper exploration of what was done on the latest EP "Nature Prevails". With the help of several photographers, music was created from pictures as if it was like a soundtrack based on them. Tactical Disorder - Burning Bridges
With this EP Raffaele Monego continues to explore his techno side and consequently what was done with the last one called "Air Hunger" and the stand-alone single "Caught in Between". Pushing harder on the accelerator, "Burning Bridges" is grittier and more industrial oriented even though being faithful to his characteristic deep and minimal sound.

Morning Haze - Nature Prevails
The central theme of this release is about nature that takes back its spaces following the abandonment of human civilization. With the help of Giovanni Bez, photographer, we decide to take an experimental approach on how to build a story about this. He took pictures, I made sound. This is an exploration of how a concept can take shape through two different artistic sources of inspiration and how they can intersect to each other.

This release is my first appearance into the techno world. The three tracks, although they can be classified as minimal, have a lot of tech and industrial vibes. All this EP was done just with an Elektron Model:Cycles and mixed with stock Ableton effects.

Mods - Aftermath
"Aftermath" recount of a significant unpleasant event that changes your life, or better, the way you see life: from the moment the event takes place and to how your daily life or plans for the future are inevitably infected by this. The album is a story that tells the day by day suffering to bring back your life to normality. The lyrics, accompanied with different kinds of vocoded vocals, are meant to be very ambiguous and with many possible interpretations.

Morning Haze - Stars
This EP wants to be a personal interpretation of Dante Alighieri's journey through the three otherworldly kingdoms of the Christian underworld: Inferno (Hell), Purgatorio (Purgatory) and Paradiso (Paradise).
The title is a tribute to the work and a connection between all the tracks, each cantica ends with the word "stelle" (Stars).

Its target is to constantly oscillate between hope and pessimism, love and hate, peace and violence. Giving you the ability to identify yourself in it and understand, in the end, what the aura of the whole work is about.

The name of the album derives from its creation, it was produced in the night until the first light of the morning to allow tracks to have a deep, introspective but also calm and relaxing touch. The night is the period of the day where thoughts become more complex and you are more fragile, but is also the most suitable moment to express yourself without barriers.

Mods - Leaving
Result of a long research. Title's word can have multiple meanings, and the story the music wants to tell is all about this. From the first side, "Leaving" means abandonment, consequently there will be a feeling of anguish and sadness. From the other side, this word can be interpreted as a rebirth. "Leaving" for something better, from evil to good.
The album was created to ask these questions, and each song is positioned in the tracklist with the purpose to feed mixed feelings.
