Cerco una band di principianti / Looking for amateur musicians

Ciao, mi chiamo Rollins e sono uno studente di scambio internazionale dalla Germania. Trascorrerò l’intero semestre estivo (fino alla fine di luglio) a Udine. Purtroppo la mia conoscenza dell’italiano è ancora piuttosto limitata, quindi sto usando un traduttore per scrivere questo messaggio.

Sto cercando una band, o magari dei musicisti singoli, che siano – come me – agli inizi del loro percorso musicale e vogliano mettersi alla prova, imparare e crescere insieme suonando e praticando insieme. Sono sinceramente aperto a tutti i generi musicali, anche se al momento il mio preferito è il doom metal.

In passato ho suonato il basso elettrico, ma purtroppo non ho avuto la possibilità di portare lo strumento con me. Da sempre sono interessato al canto, ma non ho mai avuto il coraggio di provarci seriamente. Vorrei quindi usare il semestre che viene per coltivare questo interesse. Non ho alcuna esperienza precedente – a parte cantare sotto la doccia, forse – ma sono motivato. Poiché vivo con altri studenti, non posso esercitarmi a casa senza creare problemi.

Se sei interessato/a, mi piacerebbe sentirti! Forse c’è qualcuno là fuori nella mia stessa situazione che vuole semplicemente iniziare a esplorare qualcosa di nuovo, o qualcuno disposto a dare una possibilità a un principiante.

(Aggiungo che sono anche disponibile a prendere lezioni di canto per costruire una base solida su cui lavorare, ma, come accennato, sono uno studente con un budget limitato.)

Hello, my name is Rollins and I am an international exchange student from Germany. I will be spending the entire summer semester (until the end of July) in Udine. Unfortunately, my Italian language proficiency is quite low, so I am currently using a translator to formulate this message.

I am looking for a band, or perhaps individual musicians, who are - like me - just beginning their musical journey and want to try themselves out, learn, and grow their skills by practicing together. I'm genuinely open to all kinds of music, although doom metal is my current favorite.

I played the electric bass in the past, but unfortunately did not have the opportunity to take the instrument with me. Since I have always been interested in singing, but never really dared to, I want to use the coming semester to pursue this interest. I have no previous experience - asides from singing in the shower, maybe - but I'm motivated. As I am living with other students, I cannot practice at home without severely inconveniencing them.

If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you! Maybe there is someone out there who is in a similar position and just wants to start exploring something new, or is open to give a beginner a chance.
