The story of Chupacabras Band began in 2001 in Sambuceto, when the old standing friends Marco (vocal, guitars) and Tiziano (bass guitar) invited Simone (drums) to join some occasional jams.
At the end of 2009 Amedeo (vocal, keyboards) joined the jams, after one year Simone leaved the band and he was replaced by Andrea.
In February 2011 Amedeo leaved the band too and Chupacabras were a trio again. With this line-up the band had his first official show the 8th of May 2011 at the "Titanic Pub" in Chieti Scalo.
From October 2011 to January 2012 the band experienced an artistic collaboration with Adriana Lorenzi, who join the group as guitarist, keyboards player and backing singer.
Brefly The Chupacabras Band's music is an attempt to merge the old garage rock of the sixties (Stooges, MC5) and the psychedelic attitude of the trio in a new form of psycho-garage, with some collagistic elements of grunge, progressive, classic rock, etc.
